PITTSBURGH — Although winter weather has arrived in Pittsburgh, the Pirates are already looking forward to spring. The team announced its 2025 promotional schedule and home game times on Wednesday.
The Pirates’ first home series starts April 4. For the first time in franchise history, the Bucs will host the Yankees for their Home Opener.

Throughout the 2025 season, the Pirates are bringing back popular theme weekends — like Yinzerpalooza and the Bucco Luau. Fans can also expect fireworks and drone shows, dollar dog nights and Family Fun Days.
And, fan-favorite giveaways will be back too — like bucket hats, Hawaiian shirts and several bobblehead nights.
There will also be special event nights, like Education Days, WWE Night and Heritage Nights.

The Pirates 6 Pack+ and other ticket packages are already on sale. Single-game tickets go on sale on Jan. 15, with special presale opportunities on Jan. 14.
