The Pittsburgh Steelers have activated nose tackle Montravius Adams from the injured reserve list, and he is expected to start in Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Adams has been recovering from a meniscus injury and returned to practice in November. He was a full participant in all three practices this week. Adams had been listed as questionable for this week, but he was upgraded to not having an injury status, along with his reinstatement to the active roster.
Adams should be expected to start in place of Larry Ogunjobi in the Steelers’ base defense. Ogunjobi was ruled out on Friday with a groin injury that he suffered last week against the Cleveland Browns.
