A mansion-style home with extensive history is currently for sale in Pittsburgh’s Point Breeze neighborhood for $4.4 million.
The over-14,000-square-foot home is located at 1145 Beechwood Blvd. It has nine bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two partial bathrooms. It is currently listed with Nettie Mercer of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.
The home sits on a 1.4-acre property and was constructed in late 1905. It is known as the Kelly Mansion, named for its original inhabitants, whose family members owned and occupied the home until 1982. It was designed by the architectural firm McClure & Spahr, and it was constructed by Henry Shenk & Co., the same company that built the Carnegie Museum and Library in Oakland.
