America’s Got Talent finalist from Westmoreland County joins local Christmas show

GREENSBURG, Pa. — Victory Brinker, a finalist on Season 16 of America’s Got Talent, will be a special guest at “The Sounds of Christmas” featuring the Latshaw Pops Orchestra coming to the Palace Theatre next month.

The 9-year-old Unity native made history when she earned the first Group Golden Buzzer from all four judges of the talent show, propelling her straight to the live shows. She sings in seven languages, including French, German and Korean.

In addition to American’s Got Talent, she performed on Little Big Shots, Wonderama, DreamWorks Trolls Video (German), Carnegie Hall, the Apollo, for many NBA games, the Pittsburgh Pirates 2019 Home Opener, and Pittsburgh Public Theater’s Lights and Legends, according to her website.

Brinker released a Christmas EP on Nov. 12 featuring four classic Christmas songs: “Silent Night,” “O Holy Night,” “Ave Maria” and “Pie Jesu.”

“The 2021 Sounds of Christmas” is a 90-minute musical celebration of Christmas. The variety show features a 22 piece orchestra, singers, dancers, and a master of ceremonies.

This year’s show is a comfortable blend of traditional carols and holiday favorites, according to Latshaw Productions.  It features a gospel medley, a carol medley and Christmas favorites. Heartwarming Christmas stories, audience participation, awe inspiring dancers, and a visit from Santa all play a part in the experience.

Tickets range from $25-$35 for the Dec. 5 show and are available by calling the box office at 724-836-8000 or ordering online at www.thepalacetheatre.org.
