PITTSBURGH — A car crashed into a convenience store in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood, shattering the front door early Tuesday morning, a clerk told Channel 11 News.
The crash was reported about 3:30 a.m. at the Uni-Mart on Brownsville Road.
According to the clerk, the car was a Mercedes. He said the driver got out to look at the damage before getting back in the car and driving away.

The clerk and a customer he was waiting on were not hurt.
Pittsburgh police said they reviewed surveillance footage from both inside and outside the store. Only the front of the black Mercedes sedan could be seen, so police do not have a license plate number.
