PITTSBURGH — Several horses used by the Pittsburgh Police Mounted Patrol managed to break through a gate and run free for a short time Saturday morning.
According to police, the horses broke through a gate at the Grand Avenue stables and escaped.
They were all safely apprehended.
Five members of the Mounted Patrol went on the lam just before 8:30 a.m. Spirit broke the gate at Grand Ave. stables and escaped. They didn't wander far, however, in their search for greener pastures and were safely apprehended.
