Emergency responders found a man shot in the back in Turtle Creek on Sunday afternoon.
A call for shots in the 500 block of Larimer Avenue at 4:09 p.m. brought police and paramedics out.
The victim was taken to a hospital. His condition was not released.
Neighbor Bob Lawrence said he heard the gunfire.
"I just heard 3 or 4 gunshots. I was sitting on the porch," he told Channel 11. "I heard boom, boom, boom."
The shooting is the second at the home in four months. Police detained four juveniles in the previous incident.

"It's surprising," said Lawrence. "Well, we've lived here 40 years and nothing like this has ever happened and now this is going on."
He told Channel 11 what he saw that led up to the shooting.
"The car came home and they went in the house," he said. "Then I heard three gunshots, then nothing after that. I come back in the house and then went out again and the car was gone."
