According to the criminal complaint, Smoot met Davies in the park for a drug deal when the shooting happened.

Smoot was taken to the Allegheny County Jail where he is awaiting arraignment on several charges, including homicide and robbery.

Channel 11 spoke to Davies-Mack's mother.

“I have dreams about him people still call and check on me see how i'm doin,” said Davies Mack’s mother Velda Bradley.

Bradley told Channel 11 she does not know the 19-year-old who police say killed her son in, but she has questions for him

"Whatever it was it wasn't important enough to kill somebody for. I don't care what he says and he put two bullets in my son. Two! He meant to kill my son,” Bradley said.

Velda showed us the impact her sons' slaying has had not just on the family but his friends at Woodland Hills High, who gathered photos and poured their heartache onto the pages of a makeshift yearbook.

“I'm not one to judge. Nothing is going to bring my son back. If he goes to jail if he gets electrocuted that's not going to bring my son back so I’m leaving it in God's hands,” Bradley said.

A date for the Smoot's preliminary hearing has not yet been set.
