PITTSBURGH — Paramedics used airbags to lift a car and rescue a woman after a driver lost control and went up onto the sidewalk along Stanton Avenue Saturday afternoon.
Police said first responders arrived at the scene in Lawrenceville shortly before 3:30 p.m.
A woman was driving down Stanton Avenue when she lost control of her car and drove onto the sidewalk. A man was hit and went up over the hood of the vehicle. The woman was hit and pinned underneath the car before she could be rescued.
The man and two women were taken to area hospitals to be checked out following the crash.
