PITTSBURGH — Ben Roethlisberger will be suiting up for the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2021 regular season along with JuJu Smith-Schuster, but the Steelers have a lengthy list of free agents who might be on the way out of Pittsburgh.
Free agency officially started last Wednesday as the league begins its new year, and the Steelers are barely under the salary cap of $182.5 million. After revamping a few veteran deals, Pittsburgh now has $5.9 million to work with -- which doesn’t allow for a lot of wiggle room to sign new free agents, let alone resigning their own.
The Steelers had 28 different players that were either restricted or unrestricted free agents.
