PITTSBURGH — Hot and humid with the chance of a few isolated thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The threat seems limited and mainly for areas south of I-70. However, any storm that develops could become severe fast so make sure to stay weather aware. There is another chance of a few isolated storms late tonight around I-80 and north.
Wednesday will not be as hot, but it will be very humid. The best chance for showers and storms this week is expected on Wednesday. Thunderstorms could become severe Wednesday and produce damaging wind, hail and heavy rainfall that could cause flooding issues. Make sure to have a way to stay weather-aware.
Behind this system will come big changes, the humidity will dial back for the end of the week and weekend!
