Being a ‘Burgh girl at heart, Jillian is thrilled to be back in her hometown. She grew up in the Wexford area and is a Pine-Richland alum. Even at a young age, Jillian knew she wanted to work in the news industry. After shadowing WPXI news anchors, Peggy Finnegan and David Johnson, she wanted nothing more than to be a journalist. In college, she was a newsroom intern at WPXI. She graduated with a broadcast journalism degree at the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. Since then, she’s been pursuing her reporting career. Jillian was a reporter at WJAC-TV in Johnstown, PA for two years. Then, she moved to Florida where she was the morning news reporter at Fox 4 in Fort Myers. But nothing beats being back at home, where she’s with her family, friends and reporting for the news station she grew up watching. If you see Jillian out and about, don’t be shy and say hello!
