Rich Pierce is thrilled to be a part of the reporting team at Channel 11. A Beaver County native and graduate of Hopewell High School, Rich attended Kent State University. After college, he spent 9 years at WTOV9 in Steubenville, OH. There, he served as the station's main anchor and managing editor. He also hosted numerous town halls, parades and awards shows while at NEWS9. His political and community affairs reporting was showcased on his 30-minute long-form interview show "One-on-One with Rich Pierce." Man arrested after Bethel Park stand-off that shut down several roads

A Bethel Park Police Department official said officers responded to the 1300 block of Stoltz Road around 5 p.m. for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, they learned a man physically assaulted a woman and then went inside the house with her 2-year-old, refusing to come outside.
