PITTSBURGH — 11 Cares and its partners – 84 Lumber, Clearview Federal Credit Union, Duquesne Light and Gateway Health – teamed up with the Light of Life Rescue Mission on Saturday to collect items for Thanksgiving meals to help Pittsburgh families in need.
Items collected will help to fill 1,750 Thanksgiving dinner boxes that will be assembled on Nov. 22 and distributed to the community later that week. The boxes includes everything a family needs for Thanksgiving dinner.
You can help by making a donation here.
Or, drop off canned items at the North Avenue shelter on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drive up and Light of Life volunteers will unload.

- Canned Green Bean 14.5 oz.
- Canned Corn 15.5 oz.
- Instant Potatoes 26.7 oz.
- Canned Yams 15 oz.
- Cranberry Sauce 14 oz.
- Glass jar of Turkey Gravy 12 oz.
