The actor who played Mickey Horton on "Days of Our Lives" has died.
John Clarke was 88. He died due to complications from pneumonia on Oct. 16, his daughter said via a representative, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Clarke had suffered a stroke in 2007, Deadline reported.

While his longest run was 39 years on "Days of Our Lives," he appeared on other classic movies and television shows before he joined the cast of the soap opera in 1965, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Clarke appeared on "The Twilight Zone" "Death Valley Days" and "Maverick" on the small screen. He also had roles in "Judgement at Nuremberg" and "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World" on the big screen.
He also was the leading man in more than 75 plays on the stage in Chicago, Deadline reported.
Clarke had an Emmy nomination for Best Daytime Actor in 1979 and was given the Daytime Emmys' Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004, Deadline reported.
He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, Entertainment Weekly reported.
