ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — North Hills High School is performing “The Pajama Game” this year.
“I think the music is very fun and exciting. I also love the variety of the characters,” said senior Patrice Bailey, who is playing Babe.
Bailey’s character is the leader of the Union Grievance Committee. Babe falls in love with Sid, the new factory superintendent.
“I’m generally a reserved person, and my character is supposed to be very macho and almost arrogant,” said senior Malcolm Burke, who is playing Sid.
While Burke and Bailey are seniors, many of the cast members are in grades 10 and 11.
“We have a lot of young students, who are very talented and hard working,” said Glen Richey, who has directed shows at the school since 1979.
Bailey echoed Richey’s words, saying the cast members have great work ethics.
“I love this cast. It’s great to spend the last show of my high school career with these people,” said Bailey.
North Hills’ production of “The Pajama Game” will run March 14-16 and March 21-23.
