It’s the most delicious time of the year! Pittsburgh Restaurant Week starts Monday

Pittsburgh — Pittsburgh Restaurant Week kicks off 2021 with the theme “New Dishes for the New Year.”

Running Jan. 11-17, the featured restaurants will allow dine-in and takeout specials and many of the restaurants have extended their weeklong special menus to an extra week. All have committed to abide by Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions.

Featured restaurants include:

* Big Spring Spirits at Seven Fields

* Melting Pot

* Ocean’s Treasures Cajun Seafood and Bar

* Eddie V’s

*Paris 66

* Square Cafe

* The Forge

*Vue 412

“It’s an awesome time, where different groups of people you wouldn’t normally get exposure to come to your place, said Cat Cannon, co-owner of St. Clair Social.

While the number of participants in the event dropped about 50% from last year, many restaurants are opting to extend their special menus.

“Because of the modified occupancy requirements, we wanted to make sure that folks would have enough time to go in and enjoy these special menus,” said event director Brian McCollum.
