Luke Bryan Lands ‘American Idol’ Contestant An Invite To Play The Grand Ole Opry

Provided Via YouTube API, (American Idol)

Hollywood Week is underway on American Idol and, unfortunately, last night we had to say goodbye to one of our favorite country singing contestants: 17-year-old Kentucky native, Alex Miller.

We were first introduced to Miller with an original song he wrote for an ex-girlfriend during the auditions last month. With a twang in his voice and some southern charm, he won over the hearts of the judges with his performance. Luke Bryan even went on to make an absolutely priceless offer.

What happens if you were to ever play the Grand Ole Opry? ... I think I can make a call at some point.

While Miller may have left the Idol stage during Hollywood Week, he’s taking along with him the opportunity of a lifetime - a special invitation to play at the Grand Ole Opry!

I made some calls to my good friends at the Grand Ole Opry, and they agreed to let my buddy Alex Miller come perform at the Grand Ole Opry. And maybe [I’ll] share the stage with you a little bit, if you’ll have me!
