In NBC’s new show "Manifest," Montego Air Flight 828 lands safely after the plane experienced a stretch of turbulence that had crew and passengers a little shaken up.
Little did they know, that turbulence would foreshadow a new reality for them.
To those aboard the flight, the trip of only few hours seemed like a routine flight, but to everyone at home? Five years have passed and there was no trace of Flight 828 and its passengers. This left everyone with no other explanation other than that their loved ones were gone and not coming back.
Those aboard and everyone on the ground now face the unthinkable that they have all been given a second chance. However, second chances come with obstacles and consequences. People have moved on and new relationships have formed, medical care has made strides that could now impact future lives, loved ones have passed away and family dynamics have changed.
But as new realities become clear, a deeper mystery unfolds outside their personal problems, and the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible.
