A little bit of Pittsburgh shined through the biggest night in music as country music duo Dan + Shay, featuring Wexford native Dan Smyers, added two more Billboard Music Awards to their collection!
Dan + Shay won awards for Top Country Duo/Group and Top Country Song, “10,000 hours” that features Justin Bieber.
The country duo took home the awards on Wednesday night during the award show on NBC.
Dan + Shay were nominated for a total of four awards, including Top Duo/Group, Top Country Artist, Top Country Duo/Group and Top Country Song.
Last year was the duo’s first time attending the BBMAs, and they took home the award for Top Country Duo/Group. They were up for six awards total.
