PITTSBURGH — The annual Three Rivers Regatta in Pittsburgh at Point State Park starts Friday at noon and goes through Sunday, Aug. 6.
ROADS CLOSED:
Through Monday at 6 p.m.:
- Art Rooney Ave. Reedsdale St. to North Shore Drive
- Commonwealth Place will be one-lane in each direction

Through Saturday at 4:30 p.m.:
- North Shore Drive from Carnegie Science Center entrance (near Casino Drive) to Tony Dorsett Drive
- Chuck Noll Way between W. General Robinson St. and North Shore Drive
3 p.m. to midnight Saturday:
- Wood St. between Sixth Ave. and Liberty Ave.

GUIDELINES:
Anyone coming into Point State Park will be subject to a bag check:
- Prohibited items include: alcohol, ammunition, drones, explosives, firearms, fireworks, grills, knives or razor blades, laser pointers, Mace/pepper spray, pop-up tents, selfie sticks, structures, stun guns, tasers, toy guns, weapons of any kind and any other items determined to be potential safety hazards
If you’re watching the Red Bull Flugtag from the water on Saturday:
- Stay out of the buoyed area marking the flight path and observe all marina markers
- Do not anchor or tie to the buoy line.
- There will be no dock or land access from the water along the North Shore Riverfront during the event
- Remember that you risk getting wet as the aircraft land in the water
