PITTSBURGH — Two men were taken to a hospital Monday after being shot while driving in Pittsburgh’s Perry South neighborhood, authorities said.
Officers and paramedics responded to Bark and Hazelton streets around 10:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting.
When they arrived, officers found two 26-year-old men, who were each suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The men were taken to Allegheny General Hospital in stable condition.
According to the investigation, the victims were in a vehicle driving up Suffolk Street when an unknown occupant from a black sedan began shooting at them. The victims then crashed their vehicle into a parked car at the corner of Bark and Hazelton streets, police said. The black sedan fled in an unknown direction.
Multiple shell casings were found at the scene, authorities said.
