WHITEHALL, Pa. — The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified the victim in a deadly, one-vehicle crash that occurred late Sunday night in the South Hills as 23-year-old Victoria Verscharen.
Police said Verscharen was driving and there was a man in the front passenger seat of the vehicle when the crash occurred just before 11 p.m.

Part of Brownsville Road was shut down near Curry and McAnulty roads near the South Hills Country Club.
Whitehall police told Channel 11 they are still investigating and are not releasing any additional information. Investigators said they do not believe the weather was a factor in the crash.
