The new signs were lit up for the first time last night as "30 Rock" became the "Comcast Building". The letters are 12 feet tall and easily visible on the New York City skyline. Though they looks like the previous "GE" neon signs, these are made with LED lights. It is also the first time the NBC Peacock logo has appeared on the skyline-- and these are big ones, 18 feet tall on the sides. Along with the signs, new granite pier stones with the building's new name were unveiled at the entrances to the building. It's the third name change for 30 Rock, which has spent most of it's life as the RCA Building since opening in 1933.
