Allegheny County police said a 77-year-old Penn Hills man was found guilty on Friday of 24 charges related to sex crimes against children.
Joseph Campinelli was found guilty on multiple counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault, aggravated indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children, promoting prostitution and corruption of minors.
Police said charges against Campinelli were filed after an investigation launched in November 2015 by the Allegheny County Police Department's General Investigations Unit.
Three girls, who were 13 years old at the time, had alleged that Campinelli committed numerous crimes against them.
Campinelli was arrested and charged earlier this year with 25 separate criminal counts. He is scheduled for sentencing on Nov. 29 and is facing a minimum sentence of at least 30 years.
