PITTSBURGH — A 90-year-old man died hours after he was shot in the head near a local cemetery.
A SWAT team was on scene along with other law enforcement after the shooting. Police told Channel 11 the victim was targeted and this was not a random incident.

Investigators said the victim was shot near Calvary Cemetery in Greenfield. on Saturday morning. He was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition. Police said the suspect ran into the cemetery after the shooting.
The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital, and he was identified by the medical examiner’s office as Samuel Rende.
Channel 11′s crew at the scene could see shattered windows in a black Dodge pickup truck near the corner of Hazelwood and Greenfield avenues.
Around 5 p.m. Saturday, police announced a man had been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting. Anthony Miller, 27, is being charged with homicide and robbery, according to a release from investigators.
According to a police criminal complaint, Miller admitted to shooting Rende with a stolen .40 caliber pistol. He then allegedly took the victim’s ring and wrist watch.
