PITTSBURGH — An accident on the inbound Parkway North Wednesday morning pushed drive times above 90 minutes at one point.
An SUV and a rental truck collided shortly after 7 a.m. near Venture Street. The SUV remained in the median as emergency crews responded.

One person was taken to a hospital.
Channel 11’s Trisha Pittman reported that by 8 a.m., inbound drive times had reached 104 minutes.

The HOV lanes were open to all traffic, in an effort to reduce the backups.
The accident was cleared shortly after 9:30 a.m.
