BUTLER, Pa. — UPDATE 4:55 PM Monday- The Butler Area School District announced they will be dismissing students two hours early on Tuesday due to high heat and humidity.
The superintendent of the Butler Area School District has announced there may be early dismissals this week because of the heat.
With temperatures forecast to be near 90 degrees, administrators are considering letting students out two hours early.
The decision will be made by 6 p.m. the night before.

An automatic call and text will then be sent out to parents.
The early dismissal would apply to all buildings within the district.
It will still count as a full day of school.
