PITTSBURGH — A pandemic that has forced so many people to stay home is motivating plenty of shoppers to buy new ones.

The company reports it wrote $354 million in mortgages in June 2020, up 37.7 percent to the $257 million in June 2019. The company's previous record was $263 million in May 2019.
