PITTSBURGH — Coraopolis-based retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. announced the grand opening date for its new House of Sport store concept, a location that aims to combine space for physical athletic activities with the company’s typical retail experience.

According to a company press release, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the Rochester, New York-area location on April 9. It also announced it will open its second House of Sport location in Knoxville, Tennessee, later this year.

The New York store features a 17,000-square-foot outdoor turf field and running track, a batting cage, a rock climbing wall, golf hitting bays and putting greens, among other features.
