GREENSBURG, Pa. — UPMC is expanding in Westmoreland County, with next week’s opening of a specialty clinic in Greensburg.
The 2,520-square-foot clinic off Route 30 will have subspecialties including orthopedic, sports medicine, heart and vascular, pain management, gastroenterology and services from UPMC-Magee Women’s Health as well as general surgery consultations, walk-in X-ray and other services. UPMC is taking over what had been a primary care medical office. There are five exam rooms, a small procedure room and an X-ray unit.
Mark O’Hern, president of UPMC East and UPMC McKeesport, told the Business Times that 228 people from in and around Greesnburg travel to UPMC East or Pittsburgh for health care.
