ROBINSON TWP.. Pa. — Chicago-based Verano Holdings Corp., a multi-state cannabis company, announced the opening of a new medical marijuana dispensary in the Pittsburgh area that features a drive-through option for pickup, a first for the region.
The Healing Research Center in Pittsburgh, an affiliate store from the company, opened its doors on July 30 at 6300 Robinson Centre Dr., the site of a former PNC Financial Services Group Inc. branch location and near The Mall at Robinson. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In addition to serving medical marijuana patients, the new dispensary will partner with Drexel University’s Medical Cannabis Research Center to “conduct ongoing research on medical cannabis and its effects on various conditions” included in Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana program.
