Huntington’s latest Pittsburgh branch greenlit by regulator

PITTSBURGH — Huntington National Bank’s newest Pittsburgh branch was approved by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

The branch is located at 1951 Park Manor Boulevard in Robinson Township, a site that previously housed a Steak ‘n Shake restaurant, and is in the heart of Robinson Town Centre near IKEA and Home Goods.

It isn’t the only new branch that Columbus-based Huntington Bancshares (NASDAQ: HBAN) plans to open in southwestern Pennsylvania this year. A Strip District location at 1800 Smallman Street is expected to open later this year.
