Michaels will hire over 16,000 seasonal positions across U.S. and Canada

PITTSBURGH — The Michaels Cos. Inc. plans to hire over 16,000 seasonal positions across its U.S. and Canada stores and distribution centers in preparation for the holiday season.

Last year, the retailer hired more than 50% of seasonal in-store positions into regular roles after the holidays, the news release stated.

Michaels is hiring members across the organization and bolstering its buy-online, pickup in-store team. The company will host a seasonal hiring event in U.S. stores on Sept. 12 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., according to the release.
