PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh-based tech startup DeltaTrainer has raised $3.3 million in seed funding, according to a news release.

DeltaTrainer created an app and wearable technology that uses Apple Watch motion analysis and machine learning to provide personalized one-on-one training, workouts and feedback. DeltaTrainer users are also paired with human trainers that provide further feedback and personalization.

The startup reported it would use the funding to hire employees, bring on more personal trainers, and increase marketing and customer acquisition efforts, according to the release.
