PNC cutting more branches, here’s which are closing in western Pennsylvania

PITTSBURGH — PNC Financial Services Group Inc. is shuttering another 19 branches according to new regulatory filings, including four in western Pennsylvania. The move will take PNC (NYSE:PNC) about one-third of the way toward its previously stated target for the entire year.

The regional locations are:

  • 200 E. Main St., Newton
  • Robert M. Smith Student Union, Slippery Rock
  • 66 E. State St., Sharon
  • 1725 Rostraver Road, Belle Vernon

Newton and Belle Vernon are both in Westmoreland County. Slippery Rock is in Butler County. Sharon is just outside the 10-county Pittsburgh metro, about 75 miles north of the city; it is located in Mercer County. None of the latest round of cuts are in Pittsburgh itself.
