PITTSBURGH — A major Texas developer is eying a big, largely dormant corporate campus on the Parkway East for the world’s largest e-commerce player.
Hillwood, the Dallas-based real estate company owned by Ross Perot Jr., is negotiating to buy Churchill Crossing, the five-building, former George Westinghouse Research Park, motivated by a plan to build a new Amazon distribution facility there, according to sources familiar with the plan.
A builder and owner of Amazon facilities throughout the country, Hillwood is the developer of the one-million-square-foot fulfillment center now under construction for Amazon at the Chapman-Westport master plan in Findlay Township.
