Steel pipe manufacturer Tenaris receives millions to expand Koppel facility

PITTSBURGH — Tenaris, which manufactures steel pipes, received an $11 million investment at its Koppel melt shop, according to a news release.

Koppel is about 35 miles north of Pittsburgh.

The funding will go towards facility expansions, including upgrades to the caster line, which will allow for production in a wider range of sizes.
