NORTH HILLS — Former Pittsburgh Steelers star Ryan Shazier sold his Fox Chapel home earlier this month, according to Allegheny County real estate, but he didn’t need to look far for his next home.

Shazier and his wife, Michelle Shazier, purchased a five-bedroom, 4,900-square-foot home on 1.1 acres in Pine Township, for $1.425 million, downsizing from the seven-bedroom, nine-acre property in Fox Chapel, which Shazier put on the market in May.
The Fox Chapel home sold for $2.3 million on March 5. Howard Hanna Real Estate Services was the listing agent on the Fox Chapel home. According to county records, Shazier bought the home in July 2017 for $2.6 million.
The home Shazier and his wife purchased in Pine was recorded on March 9. Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services listed the home.
