Sullivan’s Steakhouse to open with outdoor patio at U.S. Steel Tower this fall

PITTSBURGH — Sullivan’s Steakhouse is coming to downtown Pittsburgh later this fall when it takes up occupancy in a 7,600-square-foot space on the first floor of U.S. Steel Tower on Grant Street. The steakhouse, which has 13 locations around the country, will occupy the former space of Red, another steakhouse that closed nearly three years ago.

That’s according to Herky Pollock, the CBRE executive vice president who represented the steakhouse as it signed the 10-year lease to occupy the space, which will include an outdoor patio when it opens.

“I’m elated given the fact we are in a pandemic and they made this decision in the heat of the pandemic; however, it speaks volumes about the success of our downtown relative to fine dining,” Pollock said. “The national reputation of downtown Pittsburgh for foodies is enormous.”
