OCOEE, FLORIDA — New video has been released of a police chase in Florida last week that left an innocent woman injured.

Troopers say Officer Chris Bonner blew through a red light last Thursday while chasing two armed robbery suspects.

Bonner crashed into a vehicle being driven by Yahaira Castro, who had the green light.

Castro was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Her attorney calls the officer’s actions reckless and plans to the sue the city on her behalf.

"They had to actually pull me with my arms from out of the car," says Castro.  "I cannot eat. I cannot go to sleep straight. I have to sleep with pillows under my arms so they do not get re-injured for a couple of weeks and it has been very tough."

Attorney Bryan Crews says she deserves compensation for her injuries, "this was a very very long pursuit by one agency across multiple jurisdictional lines and ultimately ended up with an innocent person being injured."

The officer was ticketed by the Florida Highway Patrol and is on paid administrative leave.
