Fallen Officer's Family Receives Honor In His Name

PITTSBURGH,None — A special presentation was held Friday night in honor of fallen Pittsburgh Police officer Paul Sciullo.

It was part of the Champion Enterprises Public Service Awards presentation.

The annual event recognizes and honors local heroes who protect and serve the community.

The family of officer Sciullo received a certificate in his honor Friday.

Sciullo, Stephen Mayhle and Eric Kelly were all shot and killed in a standoff in Stanton Heights last year.

Proceeds from Friday night's event goes to the Champions "Safe Summers" program for disadvantaged inner-city youth.
