McKEESPORT, Pa. — A family of six has been displaced by an early Monday morning fire at their home in McKeesport, officials said.
The assistant fire chief said the two adults and four children were sleeping when the fire started about 1:30 a.m. on Hartman Street. They were able to escape from the home before firefighters arrived.
Investigators believe the fire started on the kitchen stove.
The Red Cross is assisting the family.
