Finally ... Kennywood Opens on Saturday

WEST MIFFLIN, Pa.,None — Cotton candy, Potato Patch fries and roller coasters can only mean one thing: Kennywood is open for the season.

The park opens Saturday, marking its 113th season. To start the season, it will open this weekend and next weekend. Starting May 20, it will open daily.

For the first time, Kennywood is offering season passes for $89.99.

The park has also added a new roller coaster this year: the Sky Rocket. However, the ride won't open until Memorial Day weekend.
