PITTSBURGH — A school van caught fire and became engulfed in flames Tuesday afternoon in Pittsburgh’s Beechview neighborhood.
The van fire was reported about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Route 51 and West Warrington Avenue. Officials said that students who had been passengers in the van were moved to a bus.
A Pittsburgh Public Schools spokesperson told Channel 11 News that the van was coming from South Hills 6-8 school.
No injuries were reported.
