Green Tree Borough police advise residents to be extra vigilant after 2 daylight burglaries

GREEN TREE BOROUGH, Pa. — Green Tree Borough police are asking residents to be extra vigilant after two daylight burglaries occurred over the past 10 days.

According to authorities, in both incidents, residents living on Greentree Road found their front doors damaged and items missing from their homes.

Officials believe the burglar checks to make sure no one is home before entering during the daylight or early evening hours.

Residents are advised to be extra vigilant and to keep doors locked and the porch light on. Anyone who notices something suspicious or a person knocking at the door who cannot produce a solicitation permit or someone claiming to have gotten lost while looking for someone else’s house is asked to contact police.

Anyone with information regarding the incidents is asked to call police.
