11 Investigates: Delta plane accident at Pittsburgh International Airport

Still few answers are coming from public officials about how a Delta plane slid off a taxiway and nearly into a ravine at Pittsburgh International Airport.

As snowy weather worsened, the plane, headed from Pittsburgh to Atlanta, was preparing to take off; but on its way to the runway, it slid off a taxiway as it made a sharp right turn.

11 Investigates Angie Moreschi discovered a public FAA database to find out what the runway conditions were at that time and whether they were treated in a timely manner. She talked with the former Director of Operations at Pittsburgh’s Airport to learn more about the process.
