Allentown man killed, 1 injured in Pittsburgh bar shooting

PITTSBURGH — Police are investigating a double shooting at a Pittsburgh bar that killed one man and injured another.

The shooting was reported just after 11 p.m. Tuesday at the New Jug bar on Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln-Lemington.

Investigators said the shooter walked into the bar, shot the victims, then left.

Charles Coleman, 32, of Allentown, was pronounced dead at the scene and a 60-year-old man, of Lincoln-Lemington, was grazed in the leg and taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. He was last listed in stable condition.

Homicide detectives interviewed witnesses overnight in an effort to find out more about the shooting.
