16-year-old apprehended after shooting of another teen in Beaver Falls

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — The teenager who was charged with homicide for a deadly shooting in Beaver Falls has been apprehended.

City of Beaver Falls Police Department posted to Facebook around 6 a.m. Monday that Krassman is in police custody.

According to court dockets, Krassman had his preliminary arraignment around 12 a.m. Monday and is expected back in court on December 31.

The details surrounding Krassman’s arrest have not been shared.

Beaver Falls police were called to the 300 block of 13th Street at around 9:43 p.m. on Dec. 18.

When they arrived, they found Darell Love Jr., 16, shot in the head. He was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital, where he later died.
