BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — A teenager is charged with homicide for a deadly shooting in Beaver Falls Wednesday night.

The Beaver Falls Police Department said they were called to the 300 block of 13th Street at around 9:43 p.m.

When they arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy shot in the head. He was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital, where he later died.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office released a report Thursday morning identifying the victim as Darell Love Jr.

Police said that Eric Anthony Krassman, Jr., 16, is responsible for the shooting and fled the scene before officers arrived.

Krassman is charged with criminal homicide and possession of a firearm by a minor. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Police said if seen, do not approach or attempt to apprehend Krassman, Jr. as he’s considered armed and dangerous, but to call 911.
